starting with pink and blue

And the girl decorating continues! I wasn't kidding when I said I am all about designing for kids lately. The latest is a shared room, which presents extra challenges but lots of room for creativity too. So, Sarah and Anna get along great. The only problem? They don't agree on their favorite color. One likes pink, one likes blue. So how to make this work? I'm going to start with fabric and let them duke it out and decide on one.

1. Annie Selke Bipin Ticking Multi 2. Serena & Lily Aqua Melon Mosaic 3. Annie Selke Links Pink 4. Tunisia Baby Blue 5. Campbell Magenta 6. Serena & Lily Annabel 7. Annie Selke Seema 8. Flower Field Lily Pink 9. Robert Allen Kiki Pinata 10. Annie Selke Esha Raspberry Pink 11. Annie Selke Chanda Stripe 12. Delilah Breeze

Don't worry! There will be compromise. If the fabric they choose is mainly pink, we'll bring in lots of blue elsewhere, and if the fabric is blue, then the pink will be introduced on walls, pillows, accessories. Ideally, there would be the perfect blue-and-pink fabric. But do you know how hard that is to find?! Let's hope there's one here that makes them both happy.

Casey, all I can say is that these girls are very lucky to have you!!

Your rooms are always so inviting, fun and "friendly trendy". I think you must be a very postive and upbeat person!

Warm hugs to you,

Mon

The plot thickens...which will they choose? This room is going to be a perfect girls room with those fabric choices. I really like 7, but then it could be fun to combine 3 & 4. It will be fun to see their pick.
